Caribbean gallery

Havana, Cuba, Winter — Her name is Graciela and she is famous, even been in National Geographic.  She sits every day in the same doorway in Old Havana, charging tourists a dollar to take her picture.  Her look changes daily; she accessorizes whimsically, though somewhat incongruously.  I wonder how many Cuban cigars she has smoked, thoroughly enjoying each one.  She reminds me of my Aunt Molly in a funny sort of way; I think it’s her lips.
